Has anyone installed there pistons backwards?

Ive read in a few articles and in a few places online that installing your 302 pistons backwards is good for hp but creates more noise via cold startup... has anyone tried this and is there proven results or just some guy on crack thinking its making him more power?

This was covered a month or two ago in another thread. The popular consensus was that it's a waste of time and puts your motor at risk.

It's not like you can just throw a piston in backwards. It takes a little work. Otherwise you would surely impact every single intake valve and probably the exhaust too. It depends on the head and piston as well. Seems like way more trouble than its worth.
