how many times can you reuse felpro 1645 VC gaskets?

These are the 5/16" cork/rubber lam. w/ steel core valve cover gaskets. I know I can reuse them, but will it accelerate leaking? Should I just put on new ones? I'm pulling the covers for a retorque. I use OEM 87 VC's on my AFR165's.

I would buy a set of ruber ones with the metal things that prevent over tightening them.That is what I use and they are great.I have had them about 3 years and had my covers off 4 times and not even a drop of fluid leaks.I think cork is no good it crumbles when it dries out plus that stuff shrinks as it gets old.Instead of putting the upper intake on to have to take off because of a 20 dollar gasket would suck.That is how much mine were or maybe 29 its been awhile.

i use the cork style,i put a light coat of permatex on the valve cover that way when i pull the vc off it stays,ive pulled mine off atleast 7 or 8 times no leaks yet
