Well lets take into consideration that a well-equipped Z will into 30k if you're buying new as compared to our cars which even when they were new, would still be well under like 27 grand.
And the Nissan VQ (the 3.5) only runs on premium...
They are quick but arent meant for the drag strip.
Our Stangs suck though, come on. 4.6L to = 260 crank hp.
3.5L to = 306hp... wtf.
To be honest those Z's have a sexy exhaust note bone stock for what they are.
Yup and even now a used Z is still around 20-25k. I bought my stang for 14k back in 05 with 30,000 miles on her (have 60,000 now). Heck you spend 4k on a blower; tune and you can kill almost anything. Total coast 18K for the stang.
350z's are just as heavy as our cars and have a v-6 with quite a bit less torque. My hp numbers are on par with '07 350z's and I haven't lost to a stock one yet. I best kill was when a dealership salesman was taking this hot chick for a test drive (trying to sell her the car) and kept toying around with me and looking over grinning (as if I were some slow POS) The look on his face when I raped him was priceless. Then I winked at the hot chick at the next light and he drove it back to the dealership. Those things aren't too bad once they get going, but just about any stock GT will trash them off the line.
PRICELESS. lol350z's are just as heavy as our cars and have a v-6 with quite a bit less torque. My hp numbers are on par with '07 350z's and I haven't lost to a stock one yet. I just realized how bad that sounded.350z's are just as heavy as our cars and have a v-6 with quite a bit less torque. My hp numbers are on par with '07 350z's and I haven't lost to a stock one yet. The 07 350 z's are trapping 13.2-13.4's once they get a few miles on them.
on that. I recently read a review on the new G37 coupe with 330hp and they got it to run 14.2. Now I'm sure it is a little heavier than a Z but not to the tune of 1 sec.No offence to you but I callon that. I recently read a review on the new G37 coupe with 330hp and they got it to run 14.2. I'm at the track more often than I'd like to admit and have seen MANY 350Z's in the past 4 years, not ONE has come even close to 13.2. My best friends 03 has pretty much every bolton including headers and to this day he has trouble breaking into the 13's. A 14 flat is about what it runs on a perfect run.
13.2-13.4, I don't buy it for any year Z.
