hey guys, i am about to v8 swap my 92 fox and i want to sell the 4cyl and the t5 that came with it (rear axle too). but idk who would want this stuff since everyone wants the v8. is there a market like go carts or demolition derby that uses beefy little engines like these? and do you know what it’s worth? my engine only has 15k miles on it, would be complete with all harnesses and things. any help is appreciated

I sold mine to a guy building a MGB. If you have any access to those types of sites or even a swap meet might get it sold.

I would advertise it while in the car so the buyer can hear it run, as far as how much no clue, do a googlefu search for ads

Dirt track has a class that was mostly 2.3 mini stock fox bodies but that's kind of area specific. If its cheap enough someone will buy it

Damn, I wouldn't pay that for a whole 2.3 car, milage or not maybe if the paint and interior was great. Half the milage claims these days are rolled over at min, once odometers. I still see one of my old beater coupes I sold around 2008 getting passed around as a low mileage car because it had so little car fax history. If its a legit granny 15k cream puff, sell it to a collector and buy v8 car.

As for pricing 4cyl t5 prob around $300 max, 7.5 hard sell at $100, most ppl only grab them to make a shell a roller. Good running 2.3 complete prob $500 depends on how long you want to sit on them. Plus cheap fox bodies are popping up alot more often with the way stuff is going.
