Give me a 89-93' stang for $1500-4000.00 and add a set of AFR or Trickflow heads, a Comp cam and good intake and some headers and set gears and I show you why the mustang is the go fast car for cheap.
Just take it to the next level after that and add a Vortech supercharger, I prefer the S-trim

I'm there except for the S-trim, HCI makes a monster... although at this point my car is so loud I cant get any play...

Power to weight ratio. Imports are the new small block chevy. Parts are becoming cheaper all the time. Its inexpensive to take one deep into the 200hp range, but cost a hell of a lot more to go further. I have a civic that has eaten many a mustang and camaro. Usually due to missed shifts or lack of traction. 215 horses with proper traction will always beat 200+ while the tires slip. Before everyone gets there torches and pitch forks.. Yeah, i'm a former ricer, but I'm selling the civic for project money (read turbo etc) on my 93 gt. God knows I can buy a built DSS shortblock for the price of the 4-banger turbo kit I was wanting. Bottom line is that todays youth are beeing brought into racing through imports. Who knows, they might grow up and buy an American car one day.
