Tagged , insured , lights work , can make a 30 mile cruise in traffic and for me gets gas from any pump .

I've been to New York in July. If I lived up there none of my hobby cars would have AC. The weather up there is the stuff dreams are made of. In the summer, anyway.
I may buy a little house up there in up state for summers when I retire. Either there or Washington state.
I think you're just used to the southern weather! NY gets it's share of hot and humid weather. My car has working AC but I hardly use it unless I'm stuck in traffic. Then, in winter the salty roads...
Maybe. 80-90% humidity @ 105F sucks. I wouldn't exactly say NY/NJ gets hot.. Lol.

Yeah he is. I visited him a few days last summer and he's definitely in love with it. Much different climate than here of course, I'd have a hard time adjusting.Yeah, he's a funny dude. I talk to him occasionally on ig still. Seems like he loves AZ.
