yup , if the pin isn't in it right and half moon isn't oriented right it will do what you are having happened I had the same issue when I first did my stick conversion and no brake lights cuz it kept fallingOne last question how is yours oriented on the plug side just do a straight on shot like that which shows the backside of the plug
you sure your not missing the white Teflon spacer that's there to keep the pressure on the whole assemblyyeah well the brake lights come on but if you push the brakes hard enough the switch will start to fall down between the pedal and the steering column. oh so if the red pin isnt placed like you have yours it will stay still
