@89oem believe it or not it's actually single stage - UTECH. is the brand . my buddy swears by it and I am a believer I have seen 10 year old plus jobs he did with it that still look like my car . color is 89 - 2D medium scarlet red

nice! that is my oem color, i had my front bumper sprayed last year and it looked darker than the original and similar to yours now... so i guess that is the way to go...

have you ever heard the legend where ford 'accidentally' sprayed a bunch of the med scarlet 89s in pickup scarlet that was a lighter shade.. if its true i got one... im thinking its just who mixed the paint and brand..

i like your med scarlet for sure!

so this is where I stopped for the night . Question about the tensioner is it normal for it to sit on the water pump pulley until there is a belt with tension on it ? I put my belt on and it was still rubbing right at the pulley also had a spare tensioner I swapped in same thing @84Ttop

Edit - thought I had a shot with the lower pulley on guess not

I can't really see in the pic what's going on to well. The pulleys obviously can't touch

Well they do until there is a belt
on with tension but the belt is so stretched out that they just touch at the water pump but. a new belt should cure it I think
