You put down over 400 rwhp didn't you? that should be way faster then 109/110 IMO....your car weighs what like 3200 lbs?...that should be way in the 11s 118-120 mph even without traction the MPH should have been way higher I think.....??
Idk should it . it made 435 on the tune with no filter - i had the filter on stock tune. sub , spare , and tools in the trunk. Its hard to shift it good with the vibration in the shifter. its like making a sandwich between each gear. Motor could actually be hurt internally and thats the issue and its just getting worse who knows. The car is gonna get a short block this winter. OR i sell everything and go coyote . Or terminator idk im all over. You put down over 400 rwhp didn't you? that should be way faster then 109/110 IMO....your car weighs what like 3200 lbs?...that should be way in the 11s 118-120 mph even without traction the MPH should have been way higher I think.....??

Jeff my 87 GT heavy convertible...lol with a stock long block...AOD 3.55s still speed density with a cheesy powerdyne went 13.1 at 106 on street tires with a 2.0 60ft I bet I was making just about 300 to the wheels...that's making me think your car isn't putting the power down...something has to be hurting it...I just don't see MPH that tells a lot..Wonder if he motor is hurt somehow....
I wouldnt doubt it like i said the car has been this way for a while this was just a trip unplanned i saidJeff my 87 GT heavy convertible...lol with a stock long block...AOD 3.55s still speed density with a cheesy powerdyne went 13.1 at 106 on street tires with a 2.0 60ft I bet I was making just about 300 to the wheels...that's making me think your car isn't putting the power down...something has to be hurting it...I just don't see MPH that tells a lot..Wonder if he motor is hurt somehow....

Hey you live and you learn but the best part is its only stock junk on the bottom and i know that this machinist sucks. But we will see i may pull the motor again soon.I know its not the tune....the vibration has to be hurting it a lot....

I didn't want to Say anything when I first read this post. I wasn't sure if you were lolly gagging down the track, or if you were actually getting in it. But, I agree. 109 mph is incredibly slow for a 430rwhp car. I am about 300rwhp @ 3400lbs and ran 108.25. This makes me think your motor does have some issues. Not the news we want to hear, but maybe does verify your concerns about the vibration.

Oh joe trust me everyone's opinion counts here - The first pass I super lolly gagged the second not so much . I think there is a rod tweaked or something I am gonna do a comp test this week and take it from there it may be out of the car again soonI didn't want to Say anything when I first read this post. I should've mentioned I wasn't taking the car to 6k either the car was being shifted at 5 or so . that could've helped in not mph as well
we pulled it to 62 if I remember but the car made 420 ftlbs of tq from about 4300 and up . I have the sheet in my truck I'll post a pic in a fewId imagine you made the 430 at a much higher rpm than 5k. Tq curve was pretty flat?
Well I was just making the point that the HP is what you use on the top end and if you short shifted, then it might account for the lower mph that people were making the deal about.
