Said it before a million times, these cars are money pits. We all end up spending 2-4x on them vs. what they are worth- me included. Just dropped over 3k on a new top end, suspension, valve body, dyno tune and chip. Now I'm crazy enough to be thinking about a V3 - another 2-3 grand- which will probably put me where Jeff needing a new block as it's at 350 hp n/a.
Jeff, get the aftermarket block or just drop a budget build explorer motor in it until you build the new motor.

Not doing the motor in and out thing again dart block it is . If I had to pull it again the motor would come out plates off and car covered for a few years . I want to get this thing where I can enjoy it while I am saving for a house etc . But if something happeneds after this build It has to go on the back burner .Said it before a million times, these cars are money pits. You'll be able to mash the pedal to the ground without your butt cheeks clenching in fear of a catastrophe. It's worth it, for the sake of your butt hole.

definitely for the bung hole !Yeah man! Doin' it for the butt hole.
Those things always crack me up . my favorite is still the b cam one
yup do it once do it right go Dart block jeff i wish i did....wait i think i said this already or something
331 good choice!! i dont know if its worth the extra $ to go 0 balance on a street motor if it were a track car spinning 7000rpms all the time it would be worth it, 28oz is all you need imho besides if that is a stock block 331 with your supercharger i would save for a dart or R block etc. I wish i went with a aftermarket block now or a 351 stroked big! is next for me.

No problem. SHP blocks have been well over 1000 hp now even though they are rated for much less. You should be plenty happy with it. Sucks doing things 3 or 4 times.

Well, some things I don't mind doing it 3 or 4 times. At least I could when I was younger.....lol
I'm gonna be 24 and I just don't want to pull the motor again in this thing . I don't mind but enough is enoughWell, some things I don't mind doing it 3 or 4 times. At least I could when I was younger.....lol
Well now you can turn the wick up on that blower and have some real fun! Forget 12's...hello 11's and maybe 10's if you wanted to. And relatively worry free! Congrats! It should be a beast.
and it's no longer at 331 it's gone be 360-363 as well . NEVER ENDING . lol
