Need Help With My Fox Body Irs Swap !

Are you 100% sure the IRS cradle and control arms have not been tweaked?

I mean, not 100% but I measuredthe mounting points and they all check out withing 1/4”. Neither my car or the donor car have been in accidents. I’m fairly sure the control arms are fine because they would just crack rather than bend in my opinion and it’s off nearly a whole inch on one side

It was low hanging fruit so I had to ask. This is a pretty comprehensive thread on the IRS swap. Maybe something in there you missed? I’ve only helped a buddy one one of these and it was 15 or so years ago so my recollection of it is just that.

It's a unibody and it's 30+ years old too.


Does it have subframe connectors welded in? Have you measured it to see if it's straight?
