Hey guys, I get this problem every once in a while where I get kinda bored with my current ride (Does this happen to you guys also?).

So, Ive had a Buick GN about 8 years ago, but never had a chance to hop it up. Im getting my house re-fied and all the bills are being taken care of etc. I was going to put a set of DD Bullitts on my Rio red 95 GT.

But, if I take that money along with a couple grand more, I could get a good condition Buick (Down payment on a new loan). The mustang is payed off.

Some have said to get the Buick, they're getting more rare every day, and some say keep the stang because of inexpensive parts and ease of hopping up.

What would you do?

95 GT, AODE, 4.10'S, Transgo, CAI, Steeda Pullies, smog/ a.c. delete.
H-pipe and FRPP Headers waiting to be put on.

When I bought my 95, it was only because I couldn't find a good 86-87 Buick in my price range. I found that they are either in ratty shape or pretty much mint. The ratty ones were like 4-6, and the good ones were 10 Gs plus.

And by good I mean reasonable mileage and basically stock. I didn't want someone's toy that they beat. I think you're going to find that getting a good condition 86-87 GN for under 10 will be pretty tough. That's a lot different then a set of rims.

And as soon as you start modding the GN, it loses that collectable value. Even though they are getting more rare every day, the GN has about 30 years to go before its going to be worth much as a collectable. There were a fair amount of them made.

THat being said, if you can find a good Buick at a decent price, I'd go for it. The 87 GN was an 87 Corvette killer!

Have both.....I just tried to get one to put beside the stang in the garage and the guy #$%^$#E me over on ebay. I offered what he was selling it for and then he pulled it......rrrrhh. I have my eyes open for the right one. There are some ragged out on ebay and some very nice low mileage ones.
A larger turbo and your in the 12's........:)
