Looking for Fox Body guys around Indy to give me some tips. I have a '91 vert, bought in July this year. Looking for a good Shop in the Indianapolis area...preferably the south side...to swap out gears and weld in sub frames. Hit me up!!

Hi! I'm in Fishers. Still new to the scene, so my first bit of advice would be... to not take my advice.

I'm shopping around for a shop to weld in some replacement frame rails. Hopefully, I'll have some results from that search soon on my build thread:

Do you know about the local clubs? I'm a member of the Mustang Club of Indianapolis, which has a lot of friendly and helpful folks. There's also a club which centers around the south side, if that's where you're at. I don't know much about them; Fishers is a ways from the south side, after all.

Otherwise, welcome aboard! We're suckers for car pictures, too (hint hint). Feel free to poke me if you have Indy-specific questions. I get busy sometimes with life and work, so I may not answer for a few days, but I'll try to be as helpful as I can.

Welcome to Stangnet.

Can't help you much with Indiana businesses, sorry.

Snoop around the '79-'95 subforums a bit, start a new thread there and post some pictures of your mustang like liquidstangs was saying. Lots of knowledgeable techs there that can help out.

If you want to get another members attention (poke them), just put an @ sign prior to there screen name. This will send a notification to that member.

Good to have you with us!

I hear about a place called Automotive Specialists in Noblesville, but that's a 45 minute drive for me. I have checked out the clubs on Facebook but have not actually paerticipated in any events quite yet. Thanks for the response and good luck with your GT!
