Progress Thread No Clear 92 (Lack of) Progress thread

Got frustrated today and decided to start the car and let it warm up again. The fresh oil change is Valvoline R&P so I figured I'd see what happened. To my surprise it slowly started getting quieter. It was so bad at first I for sure thought I had something bouncing around inside my valve cover. Burped the cooling system and took it for a spin. Ran strong. Still a small tick, but I am hoping it will be on its way out. If not, I will probably go with the FRPP lifters. Did some research after reading what you guys replied. Think that'll be the way to go if the problem persists. Time to give it a bath with my new 18V handheld pressure washer. Will update after getting more miles down.

I think that’s the first full picture of your car I’ve seen.

I’ve got like 700(?) miles on the valvoline R&P. I’ll be cutting my filter open to inspect at 1,500 miles. Curious to see what it will look like.
 
To get more tension on the belt. Pretty common with blower setups.
Definitely no blower here. I did put the tensioner back into the factory hole and it put my tensioner back in range. I only have 3mm of clearance between belt at water pump. Car seems to run fine like that but it does make me nervous.

I also noticed fuel pressure hanging at 40. I pulled vacuum tube and I am getting no vacuum at my regulator. With the new plenum I had to run a longer vacuum line to the regulator. I should still be getting some kind of vacuum though I would think.
