NO WAY, ANOTHER EXHAUST OPINION THREAD!

any body know what a pro chamber and mac dumps would do????
i think an x-pipe/prochamber and magnaflow catback is what i'll do, but it just dawned on me that a prochamber might mellow out the mac system/flow sound to my liking???

ps. if i do get a full cat back with pipes out the ass, i would want the lx style pipes, but obviously it wont work with a gt bumper.....
my questions are could i just buy an LX catback, to use with a cobra style rear bumper and be straight, or are they equipped with dif. hanger spots etc. etc.

well here is when my mine was dumped...pro chamber and flows..liked it alot but drone was crazy.

it was alot louder then the video seems...my digital just sucks

that sounds pretty mellow for flows! which make me thing maybe a off road pipe and some magnaflows
or prochamber and magnaflows will work perfect for me?
what do you guys think
prochamber with mac dumped.

or magnas with an x-pipe/prochamber
cause i think stock h-pipe w/ magna wont be loud enough???

ps. still going for the deep, mellow but still pretty loud sound!

Hangers are in the same spot between the GT and the LX, it's just that the GT cat-backs have turn-downs on the end instead of slash-cut straight tips, and they're usually not polished stainless. Some cheap cat-backs (like one offered by Jeg's) just has a pair of turn-down tips that you clamp on the ends of the pipes for use on a GT model - silly, but what the heck, it's hidden under the rear bumper, so nobody will ever see 'em.

EDIT: You could use an LX rear bumper, too, but it'd look kinda funky if you're still running around with the other ground effects pieces on ahead of it...

If you wanna keep your other GT body pieces but want to run stainless straight tails out back, just get a Cobra rear bumper (from a quality supplier, not some cheap knock-off place) and buy a cat-back for an LX or '86 GT model, and you'll be fine. :nice:

ok well i have officialy decided on maganaflow!! my original choice all time choice before this thead and car..lol..
im just gonna buy the cat back for now, and if its not loud enough,XPIPE it! then i should definately be good...but maganflows definately have the deep, mellow sound i looooove.....
my only question is, i want lx kit for a soon to come cobra bumper.....

like that^, i know this kit will fit and i dont have to put on the nice tailpies unti ready right? basically i just want to know if i can put some cheap turndown instead of the slant cut tips to hold me over until i get my cobra bumper!!!!! that way i can utilize the cat back for now, and when i can get a cobra bumper i can have visivle nice dual pipes,,,,!!!! right??
