If all goes as planned tmrw I am flying to Anchorage to pick up the stang I am buying! It's my 5th stang..with my previosu ones being a 89 lx 4cyl at age 16 a 90 and 95 gt at age 23 and a 99 v6 at age 18 roughly. The one I am buying will be around for a long time lol. I have been so sick since selling my other ones! The new one is a 01 GT Mineral Grey with grey and black interior, 5spd and 52k on the clock that has been stored during the harsh Alaska winters and has only gauge overlay and catback as the mods! Here are some pics! Will post more when I actually get ahold of it!

And yes..I plan to remove that side molding ASAP! LOL As well as try to lower it.

Looks like a V6 gauge cluster on a GT. Those were only 120 MPH, whereas the GT is 150 MPH. I hope the ecu has been reprogrammed to reflect the speedo.

Unless there used to be a 120 MPH speedo for the GT that I'm not aware of.

its definitely a v6 speedo. look at the RPM redline. i could be wrong but im pretty sure the GTs is like 1000 rpms more. i never really paid attention..just seems low to me for a GT

better make sure that things actually a gt before you buy it. guy could have just put the badges on it and gt rear bumper. would be a shame to fly down to pick up a car that is false advertised. do you have engine pics?

Worries me that the owner was dumb enough not to notice his new gauge overlay has a lower MPH reading and lower redline face. Thats just..... well, dumb
