Cleared the line out, was blocked on 1 side and both holes, but still have smog codes. That's the only codes I have now. Would the smog not working cause idle/running issues?

Did you clean out the holes in the heads themselves? I had to replace the crossover tube, but also i had to clean out the holes in the heads where the airflows from the tube into the heads. My passenger side head hole was completely clogged (as well as the tube). They were tough to clean out, had to use a mirror while picking at it with a small flathead screwdriver. Replacing the tube and cleaning the head holes got rid of my Code 44 (i never had the code 94 because my drivers side was open enough to let air through (barely)).

Well Crapola lol... I got some out but not all. Ill attack it again another day. Is a pick or small flathead the best thing to use?

I think whatever you can use to get all that carbon buildup out. I just happened to use a small flat head screw driver. A pick of some kind might be better because if it has a hook at the end it might be easier to scrape the stuff 'out' inside of further inside the head.

No go on the holes, their really blocked. May just pull all smog crap off. Was gonna do a base idle reset but my idle keeps hanging or staying up too much at first. Have to snap throttle to get it down. Does have a newer iac and no vac leaks

Check that the throttle blade is not sticking closed and the cable moves smooothly, my 89 had a 'hitch' just off idle like something stuck and turned out my foot peddle had worn a slot at the pivot,

Did another smoke test, smoke is coming out of IAC Sensor side, TPS & EGR Body/Diaphragm. Is that normal?
