power to run 11"s

I've seen sub 300 to the tires do it. Friends car made 298 I believe and went 11.9 @ 110-111. My dads made 292 and ran 7.48 @ 90 in the 1/8th which would be about 11.7-11.8...

CAN be done with 300 rwhp. Shouldnt be hard with 360!

With a **** load of suspension/chassis mods

I assume when we talk about drag racing, this is understood, especially if the OP says "with hooking up".

Hell with a basically stock suspension and 3.55 gears that same motor minus a few small things in a street car went 12.17 @ 110 with 285 rwhp. With a 4.10 gear and maybe a couple of tweaks it could go 11.99... Or WILL go 11.99!

Hey I went 12.95 @ 106 and trapped mid 107s all day last race on 18" street radials, with nothing but lowering springs and LCAs (NOT drag racing stuff) with a mere 258 rwhp.

Can't always use the "no suspension/chassis" as a crutch to not run good times! :D

with 360 rwhp and a good launch you should be hitting easy 1.6 60' times.

my car trapping 113-115 (probably making 350ish rwhp) can nab 1.6s with ease.

if you dont have suspension mods get them, i put my drag shocks/struts, springs, control arms SFC etc when my car was weaker running 13s. it helped out a bit. but once i put the blower on and started making more power you could really tell that the stuff help. the car will dead hook dumping the clutch and flooring it at 5k+ rpm off the line. its a good feeling lol

my biggest problem is I'll be running 17 inch drag radials. I have the rear disc mod and wont allow anything smaller than an 17. Which concerns me because I'm not going to have a whole lot of sidewall on the tire. I think a 1.6 60 ft is going to be hard for me to get with my setup, I'm thinking around a 1.8 or so.
