SSeater Did this every get fixed? My car does similar stuff, but doesn't ever throw the CEL. Never did get around to troubleshooting last time I was home.
Well I changed the fuel filter and it was full, I mean full of trash. I poured the fuel out of it into a glass jar and it was black. With water. I ran it down to a 1/4 tank and dumped in three bottles of heet water remover. After that it was still occasionally missing, but only throwing an o2 sensor not switching code. Changed out the two upstream o2's and it seems to have done the trick. Poor car just needed maintenance. Running good now.
You'd think the guy I bought it from would know that, with all the bolt on stuff on the car. Who cares about their car enough to spend money on all those gofast goodies, then never perform maintenance?
Side note: I'm glad I don't live in that guy's area.. The gas he was putting in it was real crap.
