Smog question. Will I pass??

Hi. i have Bassani off-road X-pipes w/cats on my 01 GT. I am getting ready to sell it, and wondered if i will pass smog. I remember someone on this forum saying that any off-road pipes will not pass, but i dont remember exactly.

So will i pass? if not, how do i get around it? someone suggested that i knock off 500-800 dollars, and sell the car as-is, and let the next guy figure it out.

Also, what do you think a fair asking price is? its fully loaded, 4.10 gears, diablo super-chip, steeda short shifter, cold-air intake, 6-cd changer and all that good stuff, decals, 29,000 miles on it, and its pretty much immaculate.

How can you have a catted off road pipe?

Anyways, you'll fail visual in California with any aftermarket mid pipe. Catted or not. You need the stock one to pass.

what kind of a stand do you have? yeah in CA you need to have a stock h-pipe in order to pass.

thats true in other states. not in CA. the only midpipe allowed in CA is the stock one.

federal law actually says that nationwide the only legal midpipe is the stock one, however it it left up to the states to enforce it.
