The Official MACn89blckstng Progress Thread

I have mine set up to only activate when the clutch is down and then you hit a button. Once the clutch comes up the 2 step is disengaged and is only reactivated when the clutch is down and the button is pressed. You don't have to hold the button down either. Just press it and hold the clutch and 2 step is ready to go. I could get you the part number for the relay to hook it up this way.

WOW just heard the car and it sounds awesome!!! What's the setup again?

Is it thumpers with explorer intake and ? cam? it sounds real good! OH is your sn95 gauges reading correctly? How difficult has the wiring been for you?

EDIT: i see its an e-cam with 1.7's.. sounds pretty niceeeeee

The oil pressure and water temp guages are reading properly, the tach and the volt and fuel level (maybe use a 94-95 sending unit?) gauges aren't currently working but I'm hoping to fix that stuff this week. The wiring has been a nightmare, without the help from my girlfriends brother I would never have been able to get the wiring to where it is, he's been a big help. Our next project is to get the wiring for the 98 HVAC box to work with the 89 Harness. I'm so sick of working on this car, I just want to have fun with it already!

The exhaust is Bassani Equal Lengths, Pypes off road x pipe with MAC flowpaths into 3" flowmaster tailpipes.

Its gonna be on and off. I need to work on buttoning up the wiring, and brakes. Once thats done I will put the dash and console and stuff in. I just found a black SN dash, center console and seats, may pick those guys up so I can have factory black stuff instead of painted parts. I'm gonna do the body work to the doors and all the stuff thats removable and the car will go into storage to get it out of the shop and then once thats all done I'll jamb the parts and then jamb the body and finish the body work to the body and then get her painted. Its not getting done for a while lol.

I doubt it, but ya never know. I'd love to get it done for All Fords at E town in August but i don't want to disappoint myself by not finishing it in time for something. Im going with the It'll be done when its done idea.

Yea, I'm just taking my sweet ass time with this thing. I don't want to have to re do it. Especially since its going to be two tone and doing that makes the paint job take at least twice as long painting wise.

Hopefully by spring time the body work will be done. I've neglected her big time lately. Buying a boat really took my time away from her. Hopefully once the summer is completely over I will focus on finishing her. I've started to get the itch again.

Just a heads up...I am starting a engine bay project like this and i am going to use your designs for a lot of it....I have also posted some of your pics with links to this thread over @ FEP.

Hope you don't mind me copying you cause that engine bay is just sexy as hell!
