I think I have something in my tire...one was at 20psi...others were at about 30psi. Looks like there's something stuck in it, but doesn't look like nail, so not sure if whatever it is has gone all the way thru, but the tire was low.

So anyways, I have Goodyear Eagle ZR - 245/45ZR17 on it now. I'm thinking these were factory equipped on 04's..??? I've priced them, and they're pretty expensive. Don't know how deep the tread is on them new, so I'm not sure how old these are...usually a dealer will put new tires on a car, but I bought it few months ago with 23k miles, so maybe these are original tires. So a few questions...

1) Anyone know how good these tires are?
2) Would getting it plugged be recommended?
3) I'm thinking if the tires are even slightly worn...I should replace in pairs if I have to replace right?

The crap part is....I'm wanting to get 03 Cobra replica rims...10.5 in back. I've been debating either 17's or 18's. My dilemna is its winter now, and want to keep my current wheels/tires for winter driving, but would obviously need 4 good tires on them. And certainly can't afford new rims, new tires for those rims, and a couple new tires for my winter rims. So couple more questions....

4) Any rec's on 17 or 18" 03 Cobra rims?
5) I've searched and seen references to 315/35 tires for the 10.5's...what about if I go 18" rims?
6) Where's a good place, prices and reputation, to buy rims/tires? Should I order them together and have them mounted and then shipped...or just order rims online and go get some tires locally and have mounted.

I know...long thread....but any recommendations would be great. What would you do? I want new rims/tires....but also want my stockers as back-ups, but can't afford all of it right now....well really can't afford any of it right now but don't want to waste money in the long run.

i would go to a good tire shop and have a patch placed on the inside of the tire, no plugs. about new tires & rims i would shop around town and internet and purchase rims as close to home as i could for warranty reasons because usually purchasee pays shipping to return for exchange ect... if problems arise with rims. purchase tires at a good local tire shop, alot of local shops unlike internet, magazine ect... offer 5000 mile free rotation and balance, free flat repair (be sure to ask about free flat repair, some don't do it but will if it means losing a sale, then get it on paper, i speak from experience) and road hazzard warranty which means tire can be repaired or replaced same day FREE (think about it).6 mos. ago i hit a piece of metal on the road and blew my tire out. i pulled my tire off, my wife picked me and my tire up drove to where i purchased my tires they replaced it free (road hazzard warranty) back on the road my money in my pocket in 1 hour. my opinion hope it helps.
