Hey guys so I'm looking around for a set of drag racing tires for my 91 hatch. The engine is basically stock besides a cai, bbk shorty headers, 70mm throttle body, Pro 5.0 shifter, and 255lph fuel pump. The car has been gutted of everything except the stock drivers seat, center console, and stock dash. I'm tired of cutting 2.0 60s so I'm looking for a set of slicks. I have been looking at the hoosier QTP's in a 26x9.5x15 to run on stock 15x7 wheels. I see that the QTP's are bias ply tires so I'm wondering if I can run them tubeless? I do know of the dawn soap trick which I will do if I am able to run them tubeless. I know tubes help support the sidewalls and the tire should last longer but with my car being basically stock will it beat on the sidewalls so much that they will go out quickly?

Asked my tuner the same thing before I bought them, was told not to worry about tubes. So far this seems to be true.

Ok awesome. Do you lose air pressure while at the track?

I don't have enough time @ the track to answer that. You could contact the Mfg. !
