what tire size

I have a 96gt with the standard waffle rims. What size tire do i need and where is the cheapest to get it. Also, it seems like i can get cobra rims with crappy tires on ebay for 700. Is this a better deal? Any one have experience with these ebay rims?

245 45 17 is standard.

I did get a set of Cobra R rims with tires from Ebay. They had Kumho tires already mounted and balanced. The tires didnt last as long as GoodYears but they werent extremely bad. As for the wheels they look good for awhile. They do get pitted after some brief exposure to the elements..But if you keep them clean most of the time this might not happen..But even the genuine Cobra R's have the same problem..eventually.
