Also consider you love the way a white Gt glistens in the sun  .

Ive been looking at a few different foxes, But i gotta convince the parental units. I told the guy im gonna have to wait til i get word from them. So hopefully this might help.

Il tell you what he wants after i get some feedback from yawls.

EDIT: yes i see the rust on the fender over wheel well. looks like a easy fix. And if i do go about looking at this car, il be sure to look for more rust.

The carpet and back seat is filthy. The wheels look old, and the tires look bald. The left rear tire looks like someone sprayed some white paint on it. The speaker grills are broke out of the door panels. Those are the wrong fog lights. The underside of the hood is not painted. The body and paint look good, but white is very forgiving. The stereo system would really make the value drop. Find out what he wants for it, and let us know. There are many other foxes that might be in better shape.

I honestly feel like the carpet and rear seat will clean up with some Greased Lightning. Used that on my notch, and it looks like brand new. Nope just original 1991 carpet.

I noticed the alt has been upgraded to a 3G and he never mentioned that.

The interior in in OK shape but dirty...the rust may be more that you think
if someone wants to clean up a car's body quick and cheap the often paint it white because it hides alot of poor body work. looks like he maby did that

How much? nothing, cause I would never buy it. It's starting to rot, and no rot is easy to fix. If there's rot there, there's probably plenty in other places. Everything looks hacked. The engine bay is nasty and there's random wires everywhere. The stereo install looks hack. There's more random wires hanging down under the dash. The interior is filthy and hacked (speaker grilles wripped off?). Holes drilled in the rear panels for those stupid little tweeters or whatever they are. The bottom side of the hood is black?? There is no reason a motor should have to be rebuilt with less than 75k miles on it unless it was absolutely hammered to death its whole life. Not to mention the car is hideous (imo). MAYBE $2k? if your dream car is a hammered, filthy, hacked and ugly GT. What is this tool asking for it anyway??

that interior will clean up nicely.

to me it looks like the hood's paint doesnt quite match the rest of the car, take a look at the pics of the front of the car, thats where i noticed it

you can definatly tell the car has been repainted.

Thats my car, there is no paint on the wheels/tires. I bought the car as is, the subs are gone sold those. Literally only rust on the car is that driver side wheel well, which is a very minimal coating of surface rust, and there is a 3" section under the car behind the pass door. Other than that the body is pretty clean, there is one touch up spot on the pass door ( reasons I do not know ). The tires probably have about 25% life left, but i have no problem gripping. Sure the car does need cleaned up, it is dirty, it will be cleaned soon. The Hood has never been painted, everything on the car I got as is. The motor was rebuilt because it was very low on oil, and was at the strip and dropped to no oil pressure and a bearing got fryed

I would run a car fax on that, And if that came up alright, than maybe I would buy it.

And I wouldn't spend more than $3000, and I wouldn't take that stereo system.

one of the wheels looks curbed rashed? also they have alot of brake dust on the inside, very easy to clean usually I sign of the how the car was cared for. every car has it's faults, I would really look at it hard, crawl under it look around the gas tank area for rust on the body, the fire wall pinch weld area, and the front strut tower area, along the seam of the front frame rail. you want to look at areas that would cost big money to rust repair. alot of teh other stuff can be delt with over time and she can be saved. I'm doing the same thing with my 91, she has great bones, only surface rust, granted she isn't a daily driver and will be garaged but all the mecanical and interior stuff like I said you can replace/repair. I rusty/cancer body or really hacked mustang walk away plenty of mustangs to look at out there.

Yeah that is a fuel pressure reg up there, stupid ****er before me, who knew what he was thinking with some things. That ghetto rigged stereo system is gone. In the process of getting cleaned. The carfax is clean, its just got 12 different registered locations ( possible owners ). I must agree that the guy before me ghetto'd alot of wiring, but everything is 100% functional and easily redone.

Yes the car has it's faults but is really not that bad. I would redo the fuel pressure regulator and put the fuel lines back to stock. I would also look very closely at the wiring due to previous owners hack job and crawl underneath the car and make sure that the rust isn't anything major. If the car doesn't have any more rust and the wiring tha was butchered is only minor and the car rides and drives good I would consider it. It's a old car though and it has exchanged hands alot so do be careful when looking over everything.
