Which Oil is the King of the Hill?

I ran Syntec 5-50 in my previous 347 86 stang, it had over 90,000 miles on the engine when I sold it and it ran like a top. I ran N20 and a Supercharger on it.

I run mobil 1 in the wifes 00 gt and have had no problems car had 80,000 miles.

I run amsoil in my 03 cobra it has 15,000 miles on it.

I run castrol 10-30 in my daily driver toyota tacoma.

Based on what test?
Not disagreeing, just wondering how you came up with that. Mobile 1 is good, but I chose my oil based on tests I saw.
:stupid:

I'm using Mobil 1 0w-20 w/ Mobil 1 oil filter until next oil change and then I'm going to Amsoil 5w-30 HP full synthetic based on the tests I saw. I'll also be using Amsoil oil filter.

Rather than speak of mysterious tests that no one else has seen lets see a link or tell us where to find these tests. Don't bother if you are gonna say it came from www.bobistheamsoilguy.com website :)

In my opinion Amsoil is no better than Mobil1 if you are sticking with factory oil change intervals. Amsoil would be better if you want to go with extended change intervals. How many of us actually do that? As was stated earlier on a cost/benefit analysis Mobil1 is going to come out on top.

Basically what everyone else is saying, Mobil 1 synthetic is the best bang for the buck. I use 5w30 but I think I will look into using 0w20 never thought of that. And yes Royal Purple and Redline is the sh** but who can afford that every 2 to 3000 miles. I think I will look into that Amsoil as well. Plus I received a lot of info on this thread.
