Well if you like that stuff good on you Dave.
Personally I think that Scotch tastes like smoky dirt.

I would think the 25 yr stuff would be even smokier, and dirtier.

I’ll smoke some dirt while I drink some of the scotch and give a report back on the differences.

I should smoke something while drinking a good scotch, right?

Glenlivet is my drink of choice. Usually I just drink the 12/15yr, but I do have a bottle of 25 for special occasions.

I’ve never tried it Mike. I’ve had the 12 and 15 year old myself and really enjoyed them, so maybe 25 is even better?

It's a different taste for sure. Hard to describe since I haven't had a glass in a while, but I consider it MUCH better than the 12/15 year. Last glass I had was after getting married last year.

I went to a very Fancy wedding once. Reception had a cigar bar with a scotch tasting. I sampled an expensive cigar and a stupid expensive aged scotch on the rocks. After sampling both I found myself drinking miller lite with the staff. Guess that speaks volumes about me lol..

I will mix whiskey one to one with water so I can taste it better, less numbing of the tongue. Of course I use Dasani water.

Actually, I like a good cigar once in a while. Might be the time to go pony up for one of those $15 cigars. Wait, since SW is feeling generous right now.....

Nothing wrong with it at all Craig. It’s better than PPG and DuPont products.

I’ve always liked Sikkens, it’s just been about twenty years since I’ve shot it in a production level.

With a direct comparison like we had with SW, it’s real clear (no pun) that Sikkens is a step above.

My car will be sprayed with SW still. I’m not in the least worried about durability or anything. It just takes more effort to get it to look like Sikkens.

Oooh! Gotcha! Well, when I'm ready to get my car painted I guess I'll have to come off a good bit of $$$ to get the best painter I can find.

I’m not a huge fan of McCallen. I know it’s supposed to be the sht and all, it taste like Johnny Walker to me. Something about that flavor that hits wrong with me.

I was very much surprised to find out during a tour of the Jameson Distillery in Dublin that Johnny Walker is actually from Ireland. It's so Americanized that I could hardly believe it.

Johnny Walker is a blend of other distillers products. They don't actually " make" anything. They just blend stuff together and call it theirs.

Life has been nightmarish lately, just non stop. So not much to tell about.

The dealership owner decided to stick with Sherwin Williams. A couple good things came out of it though.

First, two new paint guns for free! They would have cost me $1300.

Second, SW is going to buy me a bottle of Glenlivett 25 year old scotch! That’s a $375 bottle of scotch my friends! This way I don’t have to wait for that winning lottery ticket to get it.

You're old enough to be its grand-daddy.
