To accent it properly, I think it would be a slightly darker, less vibrant green than the body.
The trim grey would be pointless under the hood, it’ll just look black there.

As I was scrolling through the unread posts to get to the bottom, I was thinking similarly. Another color but complementary green that has a different reflective texture (metal flake or what have you) than the rest. The edge of the two-tone is the hard part. I've seen the top "sectioned" by lines following the body lines and that looked horrible.
Maybe some sort of fade?
I’m not sure what you’re saying here Noobz. The engine bay itself will be Booger green. I’m talking about the eb components. Why not paint it the same color as the stripe on the hood? What color are you planning on painting the engine?
That’s the accent color on the hood, same as all the outside trim. It’s too dark for engine bay components to me.
I’m not against that for small things like caps and maybe accessory brackets. That might be pretty nice.Brushed nickel
The slight variance in green will be pointless, as most will associate it with the main color, and discount the color shade as " just not being in the sun"
Titanium has a gold in it, pewter /nickel has the grey, too much of the same, and the opposing details get lost. Contrast Dave. Contrast that still blends.

I’ve seen several actual show cars that did the slightly lighter than body color with great results.
I’ve liked that since the first time I saw it.
Yet, I’m wishy washy enough on it at the moment to still pick something else.
I’ll probably do some spray out cards to lay against something like the hood to get a better view of it.
Though a titanium variant may not be bad at all.

I dressed all of the welds. This picture won’t look that much different than the last one I posted. I’m worn out from grinding though, it deserves a picture or two.

I've handed out a few....I use them sparingly so they'll actually have merit.
As opposed to how they typically get used......
Like candy handed out to children by a fat man wearing a trench coat.
