well lets update the sheer avalanch of work(?) done on the Junk Pyle, I did some wiring on my 3G stuff, new 4ga cable for ground straps power, I got a 150amp Eaton circut breaker mostly because of it's compact size and hopefull durability.

Will I be good with this?
I made a small bracket to mount off the drivers shock tower just under the coil mount.

Got coolant hoses all done, checked some connections and cleaned them up, some of that 'special' stuff for wiring connections, dumped some of the vacuum lines and kept just what was needed, kept the TAB/TAD electronics but no vac lines, that should keep the CEL happy, right?
Pulled the drivers seat up and got the clutch cable back on the quadrant, I really hope the unknown brand aluminum quadrant works, don't want to do that job again.
Now I'm test fitting the AC lines, what is good to use on that line that runs from front to firewall along the shock tower by the headers? Neither lines I have gots that 'poolnoodle' looking cover.
And for @limp
I present to ya'll the stupidimpulse buy of the year, yes boys and girls, it's a Ranchero :nonono: AKA 'Tugboat'.....

79 Ranchero to be exact, and it don't really look this good in person. 351W with a FMX auto trans and YES, it is GUTLESS.
Gotta do something about that AFTER the Pyle is resurrected, maybe, don't know how long I can hold out.....

really dig the Ranchero, I’ve been using the aluminum heat wrap from the parts house you wrap battery cables in
The Tug Boat is kinda kool in a late 70's early 80's kinda way, don't haul anything, I mean you can stick stuff in the bed but it drags it's azz on the smallest bump. Oh....and my Camry was faster but I can fix that.
I'll look around for that heat wrap at slowreilys and Harbor Freight.

is that a 200 or 130 amp alternator? I use a 200 amp with an 850 CCA battery in the trunk and my dash and everything else lights up like a Christmas tree in my 91 5.0 LX Coupe looks so awesome.

Whateverdafug that 3G alt. puts out  been draggin on for how long now? Hard to remember where I even got it at  as with most stuff stuck on this car I've had it for years or traded around and hacked up stuff to do what I want.
I'm a old school push rod guy, now we can talk Alumuinator with a Whipple though :kmcoff:

Well I did it! Pulled the seat and console out and cleaned up the melted rubber that used to be a boot. I have a small rubber 'cap' looking boot that covers the tower of the shifter but it's a tight fit, I think there was not a 'cap' before and it's prolly for the stock shifter so it may not get put on, we'll see.
Thinking about some kind of heat shield down there
Anybody else have an issue with the shifter boot melting??

Nope. No big blocks, I'm a small block guy, although the tugboat could use the torque to get this 'mini-barge' roll'n but all the weight is already in the front...I mean just look at that hood!!
I have a direction plotted for the ranchero but as long as it runs and drives right now then it's 'good enough'...........Junk Pyle is priority one on my automotive side of life.
