I see GT40p and 7L11Are those the heads you are going to use? If so flip it over and there should be a part number like what was on the piston in the rocker arm area. Just curious what they are.
I was going to buy a cam kit with springs, should I still use these?
I need shock towers, I can't find them online though. How would I obtain them?If you do not know the history on the valve springs you should consider replacing them.
If they vat the block it will wipe out the cam bearings. Talk to them about looking at the cam bearings and assess if they can be reused.
Head bolts and main bolts should be replaced.
New oil pump (check the pickup tube and replace if necessary), timing chain, check the crank and make sure it doesn’t need to be turned, new rod and main bearings, etc.
If you have never done this before it seems daunting but it’s not. Biggest thing is communicate what you want and you budget to the machine shop. They will guide you and hopefully they are a reputable shop.

Ask who you are getting the cam from if they have springs that will work on the heads you have.
Call Lunati and my bet is they will either have springs or can recommend a set.
