That seems like an awful lot of work why not just throw in the scrap pile

I would guess that you don't save things that are broken,

I keep stuff like that off to the side, and when I have enough, I take a run to the scrap metal yard and get myself some lunch money.

I save and fix broken things all the time, but there are some things that just aren't worth the time/money

Im all for fixing them if easily cheaply fixable. Ill research the idea and see if parts are available before i chunk em. Also will see if their is a jack repair person around me.

Im sure it is technically fixable, and the frames and all that is fine. But iono. Depends on cost and difficulty.

Got bored yesterday and put in a long porting session just for fun. Finished the intake i suppose. Could smooth it out more with some sanding cones. But i think its ok as is. About 10 hrs worth. Lol. Cleaned up every square thousandth of the runners. Minus 1 little part on 5 i COULD NOT reach.

Cool, thanks. I did finish it with some 80 grit sandpaper strips by hand to smooth it down some. That was all done with a ball burr. It was pleasing as it cleaned up taking off all carbon build up. I was just cleaning it up and not really taking off a lot of material but it did add up. That's a lot of CC's said and done. Port matched to 1250's also. Good amount ofmaterial removal to do that.. and the more hours you get in, it becomes more worrisome to not break through somewhere. Lol.

What made you choose that, over relocating the power steering pump?

When my floor jack failed and almost crushed me under my Syclone I actually did toss the jack into the street out from of my house in rage. But before trashing it I unbolted the handle and kept it. That handle has saved me so many times using it as a breaker bar slipped over my ratchets handles

Pics of paint job tomorrow.

came out terrible. lol. Was hoping for a better finish than what i got. I probably should of got the cheaper electric gun actually. It spit and spattered from the beginning and i knew i was screwed on the test wood. It got a little better and the paint did level some. Hoping it will level out some more overnight.
