okay here goes, my father works with a guy who's father just passed away left him everything to him, the son just wants to give away everything away and sell the house. his father had bought a 91 ssp mustang five years earlier planned on taking the motor and trans out to put into a cobra kit car. well had a massive heartattack and died. the notch sat in his backyard for three years under a oaktree till i got ahold of today. emptied all fluids changed plugs, wires, cap and rotor new battery and gas fired right up..

has a small rust spot under driver side 1/4 glass and needs new trunk lid and hood. also needs a instrument cluster and dash. the dash is okay but has holes cut into it i'm guessing for police crap.. needs paint badly but othr than that car runs great.. again for free.. i'llpost pics right after i upload tham from my phone..

please share any pics of your notch so i can have some ideas what to do w/ mine

every notch needs wally world spinners, a double stack wing, and light up valve stems covers. now that's a ride I would be proud to pimp out in the macdonalds parking lot!

here is one that I saw on Corral the other day(it's my new desktop BTW)

yeah, you cut out the middle and use an epoxy or urethane filler to smooth it over. I have seen done a number of times and I think it's soooo much cleaner than a cobra insert. it also looks like he did the lower grill under the bumper too.

Wow ... and I thought my $350 Blazer was in rough shape when I got it...

But still ... I'd honestly sooner have your SSP than my POS Blazer. At least your notch has a good-running engine! (I may be installing a timing chain on my 4.3 in the near future, on the other hand... :( )

okay remember it has been sitting under a oaktree for 3 years!! i washed it after those photos and it came out looking much better.. the seat foam is still firm and the dash came out looking pretty clean. the window i'm replacing for $90 and as far as door glass free!!! the paint in that pic i haven't touched but a weekend i could have it prepped for paint and leave it primared for time being.. the steering wheel i have a newer one from a 4cyl out of a junk yark for $45, but the engine runs sooooooo goooood!!!!! for under five grand i could have this car looking pretty damn good!!!! i have a buddy who is a collision guy for over 40 years and will do the job for free if i buy the products.. he pained my 89gt stroker inwhich i posted before.. not much rust but a whole lot of ssp notch!!!:D
