What do you guys think I will run. Since my 14.3 Ive added LT's, bumped the timing, and put the 315 DR's on. Anyone think I can get my 13 before the summer is up.

My previous 60' were 2.2 on 245 street tires. I tried dumping the clutch and riding it out. Nothing worked. I once got a 2.1 but that was it. But now I can hook unbelievably on the street and I think a prepped track would give even more traction.

Anyone think I can do it. Closest one to the time gets a driveshaft spacer on me. Dang thing has been in my room all summer. :rlaugh:

I say 13.7 @ 100.7mph

LT's should help with top end, and you should be able to pull some 1.9 60's with the Nitto's. The tires are brand new right? If so make sure you really heat them up, because the Nittos dont hook as good when they are new. Weather's gonna be perfect for racing also, so if I can run 13's you should have zero problems, even if you are a bit heavier. :nice:

The tires are BFG Drag radials. When I had my thread about the new tires I said I was getting nittos next, thats probably where you heard that. I love how long they last. The bfg's are almost like slicks. I got them off a buddie for cheap because he had them on an extra set of wheels for track day. And they arn't a tire you should drive daily. Ive noticed the tread has gone down since Ive had them for what, just a few weeks. Id reccomend nittos to anyone. Im definately going back to them.

Well since I ran a 13.83 at 98.5mph with nearly the same setup... that is therefore my guess. A 13.8 at 98mph. Good luck!!!

BTW- my 60's on those runs were 1.91-1.92 on 245-50-16 nitto DR's.

Well Im hoping for a 13.7 honestly. But I dunno about 100 mph. I previously trapped at 96.27. But those headers made a huge gain with the SOTP meter of course. Im hoping for 3 mph out of the headers and timing. Is that realistic. Or will the dr's drop my mph and help the et instead.

Oh someone else is shooting for 13's this weekend too! Since the last time I went I added a Tmoss ported stock lower and a 80mm Pro M maf. Not sure if its enough to get me into 13's but I can dream. It does feel a WHOLE LOT stronger than it did before. I'm going to disconnect the front sway bar and head the the track tom weather permitting. Good luck man!

My guess. 13.81 @ 99.34

What did you guys run for FP and Timing with your similar setups.

I did a little T&T with the SOTP meter and the car feels dog slow. Maybe I am used to the new mods already. But when I dropped the timing to 12 because I have 87 in the car right now. I felt no difference, but when I raised the FP the car hesitated when I flored it and then went. But it wasn't impressive at all.

I have the timing at 12* and 44 psi on the fuel. I know everycar is different but I was just curious as to what everyone else was running.

Also, I did a tuneup before my last trip to the track and gapped my plugs at .055 is that too much. It seems like the car pulls in the midrange and falls on its face at 4500 and up.

BUST, Called Great lakes on the way to make sure it was still open because there was some rain on the way. We were 45minutes away. When we got there it was a gost town. They left a sigh saying the track was closed because of weather. And not one light was on. :bang: :bang:

Shucks, noone wins the spacer.
