Two cars were set to go at it. One was in a right hand turn lane. My girls said take them so i did. I got up to to like 60 or so and got over to the right lane cause i needed to turn one car did the proverbeal fly by. And then thelights go off in the rear view. That punk pulled me over after all that. He wrote me up for unsafe start and 65 in a 50. I asked him if he believed in professional courtisy, he asked me were i worked. I told him RN in the ER. I he got all mad and said why didn't you tell me that before. He told me to just show up to court and he won't be there or if he is to remind him and he will leave. I never thought it would actually work. I do not cadone my actions and do not encourage what I did it was stupid and i almost had to pay for it.

I know what i did was wrong, but he is a punk because i was not in a right hand turn lane only. Then the guy flies past me and the cop pulls me over. I deserved the ticket i would be the first to admit that.

I don't understand your point here Kyle....

Honestly, what you do is what you do, it's not your preference as to whether you hide it or not that we care about....

Most people on this site have a preference to take it to the track, and do it legally. I don't think there's a person here who hasn't, at some point, illuminated to another driver the structure of the automotive foodchain by making some noise, but explaining it doesn't interest alot of us....and it just ends up in a bunch of posts like the ones we see above.

English...this is a pointless thread.

I don't deny street racing, I do it from time to time as well. I'm just saying the cop had every right to pull him (and me if it ever happens) over for doing it. He seems to have gotten upset that he pulled him over for doing something ILLEGAL!!!

I can kinda see his point the other guys were racing why didn't the cop pull them over and not him. And if the other guy flew by him he was going faster so he should have been stoped

Professional courtesy for a nurse? LOL...that is pushing it. You are lucky you got stopped by him and not most cops.

And so im assuming you lied about your job part, not to clear.

I dont know, street racing is illegal but its fun. It can be stupid in some(most) cases but you can be somewhat safe about it. I just hate the idiots that race in traffic....or zig zag there way in and our between cars/lanes. Now a open road with no by standers? Hmmmmm thats a different story

Just a reminder: some cops are mustang enthusiasts as well!!!

Professional courtesy usually applies when you on your way TO work in scrubs for a nurse.

If you see what I see on a daily basis from normal driving, you probably would never street race again!

We don't mind the hanging out either. Its usually the business owners that call and complain. If you got permission from the business owner to meet in their lot, you're golden.
