BTW, have you seen what used A9L's are going for on Ebay? It's nuts.

I've got a spare A9L, A9P and A3M1. They seem to be asking between $300 to $500. Now I'm wondering if I should still hang onto them.

I have my old A9L sitting in a box ever since I removed it from the car for the MS2PNP a few years back. I'll never be going back to it... and was just hanging on to it for no good reason. Last time I had it in the car it worked fine, let me know if I can help out.

For the record, it was and offer to loan it to Mike then get it back to sell it. I'll research the going rate and list it for sale.

Er trip

Slammed fingertip in the door of the DD. Lost the nail. Needed stitches under where the nail sits.

End of finger looks like a bloody sausage and it’s pretty numb/tingling. When I did it my whole hand was numb for a couple hours. Now it’s just the finger.

Gonna go see a specialist this week. This is my primary finger so I am concerned about recovering full feeling in it.

Might have to put a pause on some of my wiring projects

It’s not even the injury…… it’s all the things you can’t do for a while! I’ve been there!

Well, why'd you do that?! Don't do that, sir!

When I was in Iraq, I found myself in a situation where I had to punch through glass. Things worked out for the best, but I severed a nerve at the base of my thumb on the back of my hand. The glass cut through it like a razor. I lost all feeling on the back of my thumb down to the nail. Surgery, the next day, help reconnect the nerve. Eventually, the feeling came back. Still feels a little funny but it works.

Yeah, that’s the worst part.

The injury is gory, but I’m not in pain. That’s not necessarily a good thing. The worst part is not being able to use that finger well for some time. Even things like swinging a hammer are a no-go right now. Need at least a week or two to let the injury heal up enoigh to be a little “rough” with that hand.

Sorry that happened Mike.
I Wrecked my fingers 14 years ago in an apartment door. The open Wounds healed quick with stitches but I hate to say the numbness and tingling lasted for a few years. Everyone heals differently so hopefully you will be a lot quicker!
It Happens to us all.
Hang in there and most importantly *** keep it clean and use antibiotic oitments to prevent infection.

Milk it bro
the pain is unbearable, you need complete bed rest with that hand elevated.
Breakfast in bed.
Hell, lunch and dinner too for at least a couple days.
Oh, and drugs.
lots of drugs.
or liquor, whichever you prefer. But not both

Finger is slowly improving. Finally able to bend it it, and feeling has returned to the point where I'm not worried about it anymore. No idea if the nail will regrow properly.

I'm down to a bandage and starting to gingerly use the finger. Still can't type with it or write, but i'm making progress. I am hoping in another week or so i shoud be able to manage quite well and can get back to my usual activities.

Typing sucks so expect more spelling errors or me just taking a break in general until the finger heals up well enough.

Ok....dillema.

I like the Recaros, but I'm finding they aren't really practical. The photograph great and are cozy, but every time I get in the car they just seem fragile. Kiddo gets in the pass seat and i'm worried about them getting ruined. I got into mine and the rivets on my jeans very lightly scratched the material. The bolsters are just very aggressive and that seam is just asking to get damaged and start splitting.

I love these seats, but I'm so afraid to actually sit in them. I need something a bit more rugged.

My options:

Cheapest option: Put the 99-04 GT front and rear seats in. No cost, i have them.

Pros: Comfortable as hell, can drive for hours with no issue
Cons: No support and sits a tad high. It's Livable.

More expensive option: Recover the 87-89 GT sport seats I have in TMI or ACME Black Tweed Cloth along with rear seat.

Pros: More period correct. one of my favorite foxbody seats
Cons: Priced out to almost $2K to do it with new foams and buying another donor 87-89 rear seat.

No, the recaro's wont be for sale. I can see myself swapping them around a bit in the future.

GT Sport seats are they way to go, and they're super comfortable when the foam isn't clapped out
