@84Ttop for the drain line should a use a 3/8npt barb or will the barb be too long

The fitting that they give you with a new kit uses a punch and a 3/8" npt tap. While it works i don't ever feel warm and fuzzy with any fitting just tapped in the side of the pan. If I have the pan off as in your case I weld a 3/8 female npt weld bung or in the case of my ttop car a -12 AN male fitting directly to the pan. I always TIG weld the stuff but I guess it could be mig welded with no trouble just beware of getting slag in/on the bung. Hope that answered your question.

sprayed my friend who painted the car did them , they are a shade darker then I wanted but I am not annoyed by it , it should still have red in the sun light it's cloudy today

vht never comes like it does with clear and some tint to it out of the gun

I concur sir , most body shops will do it for like 100 bucks a little steep but worth it

Ok so I am getting gt40 heads for 90 bucks , I want to know I am gonna keep the stock cam I don't want to change drive ability at all . so I want to swap valve springs , can I just drop in a set of e7 springs for 60 bucks ? like I said I wasn't gonna do anything but for the price I am not saying no . @84Ttop any insight?

I wouldn't do that....I know the E7 springs are better the the GT40s but I really would look into better springs especially with boost...also I was told the gt40 valve steam seals are crap too...I had a set done for my supercharged car they cost me $500 I had new guides and stainless exhaust valves installed...also better valve steam seals...anyways I never used them i sold them...lol then went with a set of fully worked Trick flows....

yeah my thing is cost . I can get a set of y303 svo gt40s for a few hundred more then you spent . hmm desicions
