My engine will actually have a small amount of green though, just for grins sake it might be the timing chain cover.
The rest of the engine will be a medium to light grey.
The block is out of a 1990 f150.Green is the money he spending on it.

What did your block come out of?well my 90 block is not a roller block.....
and its not roller ready? seems strangeMarine engine but is stamped as a truck block, I can get the number off it when I get home.
As far as I now everything should be able to fit from older years. If you use a timing cover with dipstick you will want to plug the dipstick hole in the side of the block.Eyeballing an 86 block but have concerns, roller being one of them and can I swap 77 front dress effectively on to it.(crank pulley mostly)
All good got time on my hands waiting for new hardware, and an answer from tf.Don't take this the wrong way but you need to buy a book on what your doing, the members here are very knowledgeable and willing to help but you can't all ways wait for an answer.
