shop around online for piping.... i ended up getting my best price from summit racing. they sell u bends, 90* 45* everything you can name
Yeah old pics, lol. Sorry but ive always got something going on so I never get a "good" pic of it. Here are two pics, one is awhile back with the stock intake, and one is the most recent right after the explorer intake swap. Best I have right now.Curse said:92GreenGT, ms93gt any pics of your setups?

Jeff(ponydown) and Brian(B&G) both make quality stuff, Id say it would boil down to opinion/price on which to go with. I think everyone has been pleased with both companies.91ghp5.0 said:does anybody here have any experience with ponydown? i'd like to piece together a 5 or 6 psi (low boost on stock block) turbo kit eventually. i'd probably buy hot side, maybe have the cold side made, and pick a turbo later. or is B&G really worth the money?

Same thing i was thinking, H/C/I + Turbo = Split block and i definatly can't afford a dart block at this point in my life.ninety15.0 said:I'm also really considering the turbo/SC question for next fall. How much boost are you running 92greengt...and how much power do you think you are making. Im worried that a turbo setup wont be worth it b/c i couldnt realize its potential b/c of the stock block limitations.
Well I was on a Bone Stock engine (stock headers even) but now I have an explorer upper/lower intake. I havent drove the car with the intake yet to see how much it helped, but I was running 6lbs of boost with 24* total timing(super rich...10's AFR) but with that super safe tune and probably a 3500lb race weight the car would trap around 108-9mph in the 1320, havent dynoed so I cant tell you how much power it was making at the time. Car is a handful on 17" nittos, so I dont want to up the boost anymore until I can get it to hook.ninety15.0 said:I'm also really considering the turbo/SC question for next fall. I've really been thinking about selling my nitrous setup after the heads go on and saving a little more for a S/C , but even then i'm worried about splitting the block or bending some rods. I would LOVE a turbo much more then a S/C but without a good block and some internals is it even worth it?
