I know! They’re supposed to be 165. I emailed k-motion to let them know. It’s possible someone returned the “wrong” ones to summit and then summit threw em back on the shelf without knowing. I’m glad I tested them. He even checked his equipment twice while I was there to make sure the number was right.

Finally moving forward. After searching for a spring that will fit these heads, primarily the seals I settled on TFS 16315 with a 60 thou. shim, 1.740 installed height. I calculated coil bind and am withing the safe range, i also called TFS and they agreed it would be fine with my combo. My seat pressure will be around 155-158.
K-motion is aware of the high seat pressure we measured and thinks something got swapped etc but will look into it, they also agreed that with my stock lifters and E cam i should look for a bit lighter spring than the k-800. So hopefully I'm good and can get things put back together and get back to tuning!!

Maling some progress. While working from home i had some time to finish up the valve springs and get everything adjusted I also tweeked a couple guides to get a better contact for the roller. I'll say this, dont buy comp cams rollers. They have way too much lateral play for my liking. I almost went out and bought diff. rockers. I also swapped out one of my idler pulleys for a bigger one to push the belt more under the SC pulley, it may help with some slippage.

Honestly after I just had a set of the trickflow springs the bed after 10,000 miles I would think again before buying their springs.

I really don’t know your cam specs though, so maybe you’ll be fine. If it’s anything even moderately aggressive I would pony up the cash for a 1200 series spring from PAC

Its just an e cam so its not overly aggressive. It's all back together so I'll have to take the gamble. It'll be years till i put 10k on it. Hell I'll probably split the block before that lol

can anyone open this log file? for some reason now i cant open any of these mlg files in mlv. MLV is fully up to date as well

I'm probably the only one with this issue lol but you can change logging preferences from MLG to MSL under the options menu. It still doesn't make sense that MGLVHD wouldn't open the MLG file though but at least i can change default to MSL. I sent an email about this issue and will post up what they say when i hear back.

Good news is i was able to adjust my VE and hopfully in the next couple days i can get some time to drive and see if my valve float issue is resolved and i can finish up tuning this ve and move on to the ve table with meth. Praying to the engine gods I'm good!

Ok I had for some reason felt I needed to recheck the timing. I fixed it at 20° and was showing 0° at the crank. I could have sworn I checked this when I fired it after heads etc. This would explain why it felt like it should have more power than it did. Now I’ve got a hanging idle. Grrrr guess I’ll need a session with @a91what to review this again.
