Stangs Are For Pretty Days... Post ur DD.

Looks like I got my ranger sold, and just bought this little toy for the winter. Of course I had to test the 4x4 in it on some hills too. :D

'96 Jeep XJ, 4.0/Auto. Looking to pick up a 3in lift and 31's a little later on, might as well put the Mustang on hold. Unpredictable Kentucky weather stumps the hell outta weathermen and makes it difficult to keep a black car clean this time of year.

Do you really wanna be putting cash into the jeep and not the stang??

Haha, not really but since i'm not going to be driving the Stang regularly during KY's "blahh" season, I dont see what a lift and 31's could hurt. lol.

The '99 will be fine til spring time im sure. (ignore my weak pics)

I'll see if i can squeeze a front lip and maybe a set of 315's outta the girlfriend for christmas haha. I know i'll end up getting her more than that. Women...:nonono:

Side shot of the winter beater, fresh out of the barn. Excuse the primer... Someone keyed the hell out of the truck when the guy before me had it. He replaced all of the sheet metal on the truck and painted it, and someone keyed it two weeks later. Go figure.

She's an 81 Bronco, 400M big block, 4 speed, divorced 205, 9", D44, lifted 14", 44" Ground Hawgs, yadda yadda yadda. Should be a bit more fun than my Cherokee from last year. :D

That's a 31" tire on a 15" rim under it for reference.

I don't have any pics but my DD is a grey 2003 taurus with 155k on it now.. I bought it for 300 bucks with a blown trans last year it had 136k on it then..

LOL I moded it too.. I went to the bone yard and added the mach audio system to it.. got the RCU and the sail tweeters for 50 bucks. the other 4 speakers ford used the mach ones in all models.

I replaced the whole front suspension because I need a smooth ride on my long commute.. so I did the front struts, mounts, springs, ball joints and inner and outer tie rods..

I also did 4 new tires and changed the original plugs and wires at 154k

So I got about 1,300 into the car including buying it but it runs and drives like new

:jaw: Interesting upsize from the Cherokee, considering your average XJ owner will build their Jeep around a 31" tire. That Bronco is massive haha.:nice:

No pictures, but while my car was waiting for the tranny swap I went out and bought an 01 bmw 330i that has pretty much every option available. Just fixed my stang today but not sure which one will be my daily driver, they're pretty much opposites but both are fun to drive. the bimmer is much better on gas though.
