Wheel Spacers/Painted Calipers...Rolled into one Post *DUW*

looks great, I like those front calipers polished like that and the spacers deff look good!

I just painted mine too:

I also want to get spacers but 1" is too big, I think I might just add longer studs and go with a 1/2" spacer this route is probaly safer then that style of spacer would it not be?

Wow, that's the best representation of the Roush wheels I've ever seen. Good looking brakes. How about the front?

do you have any more pics of the front calipers?? I have a set of PBR's I'm getting ready to put on but wanted to do something with the finish before I did
I just snapped that one on the car...I shouldve taken a pic with the wheel off :bang:
I just polished the face of them...NOT the whole thing...they were really pitted, So I would recommend to paint them the color you want, and darken the mounting bracket with black paint (the red part on mine.)

Nobody: Nice looking Schtuff there!!

Looks good Rob. I agree with Troy on painting the rotor. Find a highly relfective ceramic paint that will match the spacer in terms of looks. I masked mine before I shot them but Troy's method should work too with letting the pads burn off the paint where they make contact with the rotor. I did mine in a high temp silver paint and they are more grey than silver, but I bought shinier ceramic paint and will be re-doing them before the car gets back on the road here in the next few weeks.

As soon as the parts start to arrive pics will be posted. I should have the main parts here within the next 2 weeks. Until then... :Zip2: :p

View attachment 478836 Okay. I just consider your car "the lucky one". Your best time was run on my B-day, so it's special, lol.

Seriuosly, though, it's one of my favorite's and I can't wait to see what it "will " be. :D

Thanks for all the replies.

QUESTION ABOUT THE ROTORS:

Is there an after market rotor that I can "slap on" the backs that allow me to keep my same calipers, looks decent and allows me to keep my E=Brake?

WHich if any?
THANKS!!

RC

The pic I posted on the previous page is the Baer Erispeed 13" rear KIT (comes with new brackets etc to move the rotor up from stock location) that keeps the GT caliper. Well ill let you decide how it looks, personally I think it looks good with the front 13" cobra brakes but some say they would like it better with smaller rears to show off the fronts more. So then you can get the kit that was posted above from Jegs which is cheaper and I think its a stock size rotor. Im doing a detailed write-up on the install of the kit I got, it is pretty darn easy only gotta grind down 2 brackets.

Once i get my car on the road ill get more pics of my car with the fronts/rear brakes.
