Will the Ford Racing Super-duty T5 Tranny for 79-93 fit?

It sells in summit for $1150 which isn't too bad of a deal compared to 2grand T56s and TKOs. Reason I'm asking is that I want to have a little bit of research done before my T5 goes out. I think the synchros are making a little noise right now at 108K so I'm anticipating a new transmission or a rebuild. Is this a good replacement and will it match up to my bellhousing and work with everything? Are there any other good transmissions out there for a comparible price? Thanks for the help guys.

NO. YOu will need a fox body bell housing, because of the shorter input shaft. You will also need a fox body clutch fork, and drive shaft spacer.

you could get it rebuilt for a much better price. I'm thinking about rebuilding mine on my own, though I've never done it

Phoenix Hard Parts sells the 94-95 T-5 (reman.) for $695.00. That's where I got mine.

BTW, I would recommend the rebuild as well. If you go the rebuild route .... DO THE G-FORCE UPGRADE! From what I hear, you won't regret it.
