91 ssp notch for free

it runs and it was free,, oh and its a stang,
cant beat it with an ugly stick.

Err well some one did but hey it was free!

It dont look too bad, already converted to a 5-speed. New cluster and ALL interior switches, new door pannels, hood, lights and a million other small things. That is a project I would love to have. I see you had to use the ponys off the GT350 to get her home huh?

Find

I'd take it for free, but take it with an open mind. As mentioned previously thats a parts car at best.

Do yourself a favor, find a 4 cylinder with a good body and swap stuff over.

You will find a lot more rust if you start poking at it. Pull all the carpet and have a good look at what is under there.

Good luck on your project.

okay remember it has been sitting under a oaktree for 3 years!! i washed it after those photos and it came out looking much better.. the seat foam is still firm and the dash came out looking pretty clean. the window i'm replacing for $90 and as far as door glass free!!! the paint in that pic i haven't touched but a weekend i could have it prepped for paint and leave it primared for time being.. the steering wheel i have a newer one from a 4cyl out of a junk yark for $45, but the engine runs sooooooo goooood!!!!! for under five grand i could have this car looking pretty damn good!!!! i have a buddy who is a collision guy for over 40 years and will do the job for free if i buy the products.. he pained my 89gt stroker inwhich i posted before.. not much rust but a whole lot of ssp notch!!!:D

let em hate! nice score i paid 1,600 for this so you way ahead of me man! take some tuff stuff to the interior with a brush and keep some rags around...this is what i did to mine to clean it..

mine was parked in 94 with 91,414 miles on it due to a blown up AOD.. it was started evey month and let idel for a little bit up untill 1999 when. it started running really rough..then in 2000 it was moved to his sons house with intentions of his sons restoring the car but it was parked again half on a car port and half off then i bought it on 2006!....so were second owners woot!

bring her back from the dead!

I agree with pic whore (lol).. strip the interior out an see how the floors look. get a steam cleaner an clean everything up an see what you got. If the floors and strut towers are solid I'd pick up a roller for a parts car an save the ssp.

It’s got nothing to do with being haters?!? Your car didn't have the windows open and the hood off for god knows how many months on end. That interior is all but ruined. Mould is IMPOSSIBLE to get rid of and I guarantee if it's had dead leaves lying on the carpets and seats, rain water and UV exposure for that long, there's an abundance of it. Not to mention the kind of damage it’s probably done to the electrical components under the hood over that period of time.

He should count himself lucky that he paid nothing for it, but not be too disappointed when it doesn’t turn out to be worth fixing in the end.

did you see the top?!? it was ripped in many placers mine had a very small amout of mold in the trunk and on the dash, so he can swap the dash if need be, thats nonthing big, i had wet carpet in a few places...pulled carpet there was no rust.

it may just be rough on the outside never know, but id say if its running right right now then most of the electircal system is fine,

if i were you i WOULD gut the interior and do a very good cleaning of it!

Doesnt look that bad to me, after a wash and a interior cleaning youll be able to see where you stand a lot better.

I know a guy selling a trunk lid and a SSP 160 cluster, let me know if your interested and I'll PM you his info.
