I swear to god Mike, you make me want to fly back to Alabama.....I'm still not getting it.....Why are you buying a car that is so rusty again?
I mean, if the sheet metal is this bad, how are the floors?
Good,... After you're done btch slappin me, you can repaint the wheels,.....that are fcked up as a rat's ass.I swear to god Mike, you make me want to fly back to Alabama.....
.So, just a text update today.
The new gas tank finally got here, no pictures, I was too lazy to open the box.
I finished the bodywork on the fender today and will give it a good primering in the morning. The top is nice and straight now.
I got the door blocked out, it's just beautiful! Tomorrow morning, I've decided, I'm going to give it two more coats of primer on the outside. I will block that out with 600 grit, this way it won't get a coat of sealer and make the paint job even smoother. I will seam seal the door as soon as the primer is done baking. This means no paint till Monday.
I'm dying to see how it looks with the Kona blue though.
Almost forgot, I dropped of the decklid and right fender with the media blasters today. They'll be ready for me next Monday. I've got a feeling that decklid may need some serious attention. Not big dents, just a bunch of small ones/waves to deal with.
I didn't tear down the bumper today, just not enough time with that pesky customer work to do.
But I know y'all need a picture so, here:![]()
Actually, it is a trophy picture from @Noobz347 for being the most like able guy.A shot from your screen saver no doubt?

Can you say employee discount?!?!?!

I'll be keeping track of how many coats of everything you use so I'll know exactly how much to buy.
Side note on that pony crap, my older daughter loved those little fckin' things twenty or so years ago. Did you know there are supposed men out there that have a "club" called "My Little Brony"? I'm not shtting you here, google it.

My painter's helper from work......like I have stated before about the type of guy that works in a body shop....
Sad to say it, but nothing really surprises me these days in the world we live in. What concerns me is, how did you know this?
