As of now, the build is still in the planning stages. I am deciding on how to do setup the bypass valve for the m90 as well as the pulley setup, to buy a supercharger crank pulley and run two belts or setup the charger as an extra accessory. I have seen both done successfully, so we will have to see what works for me. Here are a few pics of my charger, its from a 73k mile Tbird SC coupe. I have also decided not to relocate the TB, and I will also keep the MAF on the tb side of the intake tract. I will keep you guys updated. Tomorrow I am going to tear into it and measure out the bracket sizes needed and make the brackets probably thursday(day off).

only problem with setting this up as an extra accesorry is that it is an 8 rib pulley, the other accessories are 6( i believe). I am going to have to sign up to another forum to ask the other guy I found how he did his.

Thanks man, I also thought about it as I was posting, but didn't want to sound stupid lol.

The reason for not doing it like jims is the vortech crank pulley is 173 from them or around100 used, then the Throttle cable is extremely long and I still want to run EGR. Anyway, I also want to be unique and the purpose of it being a "budget build" is to keep it under a used supercharger kit, the way I want to do it, I want it to be about half the price of a used kit.

Thanks for the support guys. still waiting on my buddy with the torch to cut the brackets and then his setup to weld the alluminum.

total build cost so far:

47 bucks for charger lol

I believe on our cars it pushes 5-6psi stock. As long as it is a decnt increase in power over what I have now I will do all the fabwork in the world I have to do to get it to be cheap.

^^^nah, it's the m112 i belive that is equiped on teh kewbz.

beast man, why DONT you run two belts... that way if you shred one, you can still drive home without overheating lol. im sure if you did some meausering and what now, any self respecting machine shop could do it. that what some of the guys up here in CO do.

also, i dont know if you already had this planned, but maybe just fab a big bracket to house all your accesories AS WELL as just the front of the blower, the run some stiffeners off a header stud to keep the back from vibrating and stuff. im sure the tubing for the inlet shouldn't be as hard as fabing the assesory bracket and having everything line up perfectly.

well fabbing a whole bracket using it to house all my accessories is a lil more then I had planned to do. I have an e-fan and I hopefully won't shred a belt, if i do, I will carry a spare in the trunk:D

really? wow.. I hope I can get it lined up and setup perfectly so this doesn't happen. Ahh my belt will need replacing in a few months anyway, why not go ahead and shred it then get another then.
