Man I love that overflow. I thought about getting that but you lose your sensor. What are your thoughts on the sensor? I guess you have a water temp reading and you would just want to check your fluid levels manually... Looks vs electronics....
I have the same overflow as Jeff. Really dont care about the sensor. It doesnt hold as much as the factory one but sure looks perty.

did you make that custom billet electrical/coil wire hide panel on the driver side fender? My plastic one is looking pretty shady... Nice engine bay, you guys are killing me with how nice they are...

I bought most of my chrome pieces used off CL and EBAY as they are not cheap, however I know that most Mustang aftermarket companies like LMRS, AM. CJ Pony, EBAY all sell the stuff. The polished parts I did myself. If you really want your mind blown google "sonic cherry" or "almost stock" I've known those guys for almost 20 years on the Corral and their cars are works of art.
They may run 5.8 running, but there is a huge startup load on them.

Not to hijack your thread, but does anyone know how to cause a delay between the two fans. For example, how to make one turn on a few seconds before the other? I know using a fancy controller can do it, but I use relays and a temp switch.

one way is to use an adjustable time delay relay.
Examples, there are 3 options on this page below. In the case mentioned, you will want the 3rd option "Delay on Operate".

Sorry for the late reply Jeff. I'm still using the stock temp gauge and it runs around the r in normal on a hot day. Climbs a little more sitting in traffic, but it beats the heck out of the mishimoto fans. It puked coolant out and overheated with them.
No prob pal just figured I'd ask to get an idea . I'm willing to bet the turbo makes way more under hood heat then the blower . I'll be driving it a bunch the next few weeks to see where I'm at . But if your making it work in Texas I doubt I'm gonna have an issue . I just want all my little bugs worked out before mustang week . That's why I'm doing all this work all of a suddenSorry for the late reply Jeff. I'm still using the stock temp gauge and it runs around the r in normal on a hot day. I just ordered a new one from lmr with the correct vacuum emissions sticker for it . I am weird with that stuff . I think it's cool and clean to have all the factory stickers . People usually notice it too and it adds to the wow factor I guess . I did the ones on my core support when I painted the bay and people notice all the timedid you make that custom billet electrical/coil wire hide panel on the driver side fender? My plastic one is looking pretty shady... Nice engine bay, you guys are killing me with how nice they are...

I've never cared what my engine bay looks like, but looking at your guys' bays, almost makes me wish I did.
Mine was this until I pulled the motor out to do the first blower build.I've never cared what my engine bay looks like, but looking at your guys' bays, almost makes me wish I did.

Kinda how I feel about mine. One day the engine will come out and mine will get done. Not looking forward to doing it. Appears to be a ton-o-work.
Yours is gorgeous, btw!
Right side pulls 7.1 amps . Left pulls 7.4 amps. They both pulled somewhere around 10 each at start up. Not as much as I expected .Is the amperage correct? 5.8 draw? Have you put a multimeter to it since you put that big leash 75 relay on it?

Interesting.. It's more than what Dorman support states. Makes you wonder about what they state for the CFM too. I'm sure its fine. It's been tested and used by others with tons of heat and they state it works. So....
Keep us informed on how it goes over the next couple of hot spells. Really, your drive to mustang week will be what I want to hear about!! Oh, and how the fans do with temps too on the way there and back lol.
