If i can make another 3 psi and it be almost twice as efficient and see maybe 640-650 id be happy. Nick says he thinks it may make close to 80-100 more with the ysi with no issue.

So it seems when I had the single disc in the car that was slipping I may have nipped a 4th gear syncro I had an intermittent grind ever since the car went back together with the twin disc.

I just pulled the trans - Monday it goes to rockland standard gear to have the high rpm upgrades done . Carbon fiber syncros, blocked rings , bronze shift fork pads and the rail upgrade to help the high rpm shifts.

whats your thoughts on Rockland Standard Gear? i live in Rockland and my job is only a few minutes from there. been thinking about using them when i finally cross the bridge of replacing/beefing up my trans.

So far great , they designed the tranzilla t56. They designed most of the upgrade parts that many of the trans guys use for the TKO as well . They called me while I was in Georgia to let me know what they found when they opened the trans . Said if I give them the ok they will fix it and replace with the upgraded stuff we spoke of . Prob about a week . The next day they called letting me know it was done . So far have been a pleasure to deal with .

So how much can they beef up a TKO600 to handle? All they did to yours was upgraded it to handle high rpm shifts, right?

Yes , liberty will face plate them and that helps out more but no syncros on the street is a little daunting.

They said it will handle around 650ish now . But it will cure all the lock out issues and shift easier which should make it less harsh on the trans .

Picked it up this morning along with the box of carnage and old syncros . 2-3 assy was messed up as well as 4th gear cone . Women on the phone asked how hard do you shift second ? I said idk around 63-6800 without lifting off the throttle . She goes yeah we can tell you did a number on second gear ...

I want to say right around 2600 . Then you need the bellhousing , 31 spline yoke for the driveshaft, and to modify the stock or get a stifflers crossmember

First ride since dec 5th ... trans needs to break in some the shifts seem to have gotten smoother with each clutch adjustment today . I made a few hard shifts it went right in . Need to get some more miles on it .
