The tool is cheap . It’s nice to have too . I have had oil pump rods fall in used motors I bought . That’s my biggest fear again .

More goodies . The bumper support is so light you can hold it with your pointer finger .

I can’t help myself . If you remember i bought a Freezy cam out of my friends car that was a little more agressive . Well Brian calls me last week and tells me hey I have a customer local to us . He’s going turbo , I just did a blower cam with the same specs as the one you bought except this one has the extra lift your old cam had In it and a half a degree less lobe sep and it BRAND NEW . You can prob get it for less then my actual cost . Uhhhhhhhhhhhhh ok . You got it

To my knowledge the car has never had a rack done in it . So yesterday I go to put the rack in and new steering shaft. I can’t get the splines to slide on only to realize the splines look like :poo: . Tried to clean them up with a wire brush to no avail .

Needs a driver side tie rod anyway. So I ordered a new 2.5 turn rack for it . After getting frustrated with the wiring in the fender I finally decided to ditch the stupid ford relay and just put a junction there . Use a 30 amp relay to trigger the sol on the starter and be done with it . Got the msd box mounted to the Scott rod panel as well

Still have to zip tie all the wiring neat and arrange it all . It’s just kind of up there to make sure it all fits . Test fitted the fender liner too and were all good there. The 2/0 wire I used should handle whatever I throw in the car . I have it fed through the fire wall where the cruise crontrol stuff used to come through the grommet . I like the idea of the power cable in the car rather then under it .

Spoke to my engine builder Tuesday . Heads are on and he was checking pushrods and it turns out I needed .200 longer pushrods . No big deal . So we should be on for Saturday to pick it up .

If I had it my way I’d rip every wire out of this car and do it over with a leash street strip board . But I don’t have the time right now with this ultra street car I’m wiring . So for now have to make the best of the factory non sense

I kept the starter solenoid in mine and ran one cable into the fender to a five post terminal from a suburban. Connected everything unto the five post terminal hidden in the fenderwell.
