@Steel1 I like that method and using that method it confirms my pushrods are the right length. It was spot on which was nice considering my pushrods aren’t that old and weren’t cheap. I’ll take a closer look and see if I need to move clearance the guide to move it back a hair.

The more i cycled and looked i don't think it was touching the guide but i decided to hit the flat spot with a round file and i feel more comfortable knowing it for sure isn't hitting at full lift.

Got the valves adjusted. Gotta head outta town for a few days and then I’ll finish putting this back together. Covers are purposely backwards so I can run my vent lines outta the way.

I may get a chance to drop this in the car this weekend... Long tubes on the heads before or lay em in the bay then bolt them up. On other cars having them on was always easier but I've not done this on a foxbody before.

Depends on who’s headers . My bbk went in with the motor everytime . These Accufab / RCI I have . One wraps around the steering shaft so it stays in . Passenger goes in after the aod is back in for ease of getting to the bolts .

I think mine only had one option.... pictures please.

Where is the intercooler we schemed?
The more I thought that through the more I realized it would turn into a black hole. I spoke to the intercooler guys and I would need a cowl hood to clear everything. I’m also being lazy lol there’s always next winter ha!
see the mount pads. Two holes in each.

Coming together....
What in the name of Sam Hell is that 50.00 collection of brass doing in the front of the engine? Can’t you just go get a pre-bent hose from the AP store, and relocate that other sender to some other place, or drill and tap the water neck for it. It’s a shame that you go through all of the stuff required to get a jag PD blower working on a 5.0 engine, and then have that fitting menagerie draw the eye to it.

Ya I’m not happy with it. My buddy works at Swagelok and is making me a more presentable solution. He made measurements today actually. It is completely hidden by the alternator but still...

Got the transmission in today. I also started plugging in harness and misc plugs. Gonna do the e brake cables next so I can put the driveshaft back in. I also ordered a bigger rear sway bar (project creep in full effect) All in all some decent progress but still taking my time.

Used the down pipes from the shorty header system to piece together my h pipe for the long tubes. Still need to finish weld and weld on hangers but not bad.
