Got all the parts back. Did lower intake , valve covers , power steering pulley all the same satin as my upper intake to match .

Did the batt box , rad hold downs , timing cover / pointer , power steering pump bracket , relocation brackets for p/s and coolant pipes all In gloss black .

Spoke to Tom moss . Lower intake is going out to be ported by him this week to 1262 gasket for the new heads I plan on getting .

Haven’t called engine builder although I should .

Thanks bud . Pics do it no justice compared to the way they come from frpp . I’m finally happy it will all be matching . There is not a thing on the engine that isn’t coated , polished , or aluminum at this point . It should be very easy to maintain as far as keeping it clean too .

Just picked up a drive shaft sensor , collar and mount too to measure drive shaft speed . I eventually would like to get into a race pak so that would help with displaying mph and also aid in measuring for converter slip once I get to the track.

Measuring driveshaft speed? This makes me feel more stupid than usual Jeff, but why. (Honest question, I don’t understand)

They use it as data to measure converter slip , can also pull timing in an event of tire spin to get down the track or road . Also can be used to convert the data for race pak to display mph on the dash when I do get one down the road

Much more accurate than trying to use the reading from the vss to do the same thing. Which you could do for a low buck alternative, only thing holding you back then is software.

Those heads are not big at all on a ysi blown 363. Probably sized about right, maybe even small on a n/a 363. Can't wait to see the new numbers!
